My background as a nurse prior to obtaining my Nurse Practitioner was served in the ER. Through my many years of practice, I have witnessed first-hand what our first responders and police go through on a day to day basis. They just like us have no idea what the day will bring when they put on that uniform and leave their families at home.
Over the years our relationships became more like family and we relied on one another for safety and protection. Some of my best friends are paramedics and police officers. I feel it is only natural to want to give back. Warriors Heart gives me this chance!
Not only do I feel the need to give back to the first responders and police, but I also feel an obligation to give back to our Military personnel My husband and best friend served our Great Nation with the Marine Corps for 4 years. He deployed to Iraq twice between the years of 2004-2008. He is has had his struggles but he has overcome. He is an amazing man and I am proud to be the wife of a Marine.
I am very thankful for the opportunities I have to work with Warriors Heart. It allows me to serve those who put their life on the line for our safety and freedom!
