I am Wyatt Lucas, my why are a lot of reasons. Growing up in a military family, I knew I wanted to serve my country and do my part. Being in the Air Force as Security forces when I was stationed in Korea, I saw firsthand what alcohol does to those who defend our great country and the pain they go through being away from family and friends.
Furthermore, my time being in I have responded to multiple attempts of my fellow brothers and sisters are calling for help. A lot of times I have been successful and other times I have failed. Four years of Active duty and I have had six of my friends and brothers I have served with take their life’s and that is six to many. I live by the motto that we have here that “Warriors Heal Warriors.” I have been there for my brothers and sisters while I served and I’m here now with them at Warriors Heart.
