I have always been in awe of those who sacrifice so much to fight for this country. Both of my grandfathers served in the Air Force, the bravery of all the men and women put forward is astonishing. One of the biggest reasons I have been drawn here is seeing these people overcome their addiction. I have seen close family members go through addiction and it’s something very scary. Seeing this so closely, knowing that this disease can take someone you love so easily. I have been lucky enough to see him go through all of this but still come out on top and claim his sobriety. I love seeing the transformation these people go through and what they overcome. Giving back to the men and women that served for our country is the least I can do to show my appreciation to them.
