My Why: Abigail Woods

My name is Abigail Woods but everyone calls me Abby. I was born in Crown Point, Indiana. I’ve lived all over the west coast and mid-west. My mother was a traveler and took us wherever her heart desired, and that definitely made my childhood was one for the books! In January of 2011, I had my son and I lost custody to him due to my addiction. On August 11th, 2011, I chose to take my life back and haven’t looked back since. My passion in life are my boys! To give my boys the childhood and memories they deserve. If I’m not at a sporting event for my sons or work. I’m outside hiking, fishing, or just relaxing outside. I love being outside and exploring nature.

My Why:

My sons are my why! When I had my oldest son, I experienced unconditional love for the first time so, I changed my life around and sought out help for my addiction and PTSD because of him. Today I am grateful that I get to be a part of my son’s life and be a great mother for them.
