My Why: Brendie Scholten

Brendie Scholten
Chef

Brendie Scholten, came to Virginia in 2005 from Buckeye, Az. She has learn to love Virginia and found her own way here. She started learning to cook from a young age by watching/helping her grandma and mom. She further her love of cooking after high school and went on to making her dream come true. Brendie enjoys to hang out with her friends and family in her spare time, and give love to her furbabies. She loves animals just as much as cooking and they are beyond spoiled.

My Why:

I found Warriors Heart through Indeed but it has been the best place I have ever encountered. I enjoy the smile people get from eating my food so this place makes it extra special because I get to help make the warriors journey more special and smooth with a good meal. This place has become special to make as it has brought a spark back into my life. “We are only as small as we make ourselves” and it’s never too late to get back up and try again.
