Jeremy was born in Vermont and spent his childhood relocating frequently as part of a military household. His upbringing took him across various parts of the country, including New York, South Carolina, Hawaii, and Virginia. He graduated from Massaponax High School in 2002 and enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly thereafter, serving a total of 12 years in combined military service.

In 2007, Jeremy deployed to Iraq with Alpha Company, 116th BSTB, based out of Fredericksburg, Virginia. After returning from deployment, he began pursuing higher education in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and currently holds 108 credit hours toward a Bachelor’s degree.

Outside of his professional life, Jeremy is deeply involved in his community, dedicating his spare time to coaching youth baseball with Caroline County Little League. A devoted father of three boys, he is especially passionate about emergency management and mental health advocacy. He joins Warriors Heart after spending 2 years as an ISS para-professional at Bowling Green Elementary School, assisting & mentoring students in behavioral & mental crisis.

My Why:

I felt a strong connection to the mission of Warriors Heart. As a Veteran myself, I was naturally drawn to the organization’s commitment to helping fellow service members, first responders, and others on their healing journey.
