Lori started her nursing career after starting her family. She has worked in many fields of nursing including hospice, med-surg, and behavioral health. Her passions for helping people lead her to provide care as a bedside nurse. She was able to advance her nursing career by taking roles such as case manager, nurse manager, staff development and assistant director of nursing.

In her spare time, Lori loves to spend time with family. She enjoys hanging by the fire pit, vacations to the OBX, and if the sun is out, you can find her lying out by the pool. She enjoys crocheting, reading and taking naps! Lori loves making memories and still prints pictures for her photo albums.

A fun fact, Lori has a side gig! She’s the baker behind “Cakes by Lori”. She uses her talents to create birthday cakes, cake pops, cupcakes and even wedding cakes. Minnie Mouse? Monster trucks? Elegant 7 layer wedding cake? You give her an idea and she brings it to life!

My Why:

I saw Warriors Heart as an amazing opportunity to serve those who have selflessly served us. It makes my heart happy that I get to be apart of their recovery. I get to offer my support and help to make a difference in their lives. I get to “Welcome them home”.
