I grew up in Bandera with have a strong sense of duty and wanted to give back to a community that helped shape my life, and to a cause that is very close to my heart. Having served with many military and public service warriors over the years, I have seen both good and bad outcomes related to dealing with PTS and coping with those issues including the aftermath in life away from duty. I feel very strongly that had a place like Warriors Heart existed earlier in my life, I might still have some of those friends today. I was strongly influenced by those very experiences and made a choice to be an advocate in my personal life to help out wherever I could. I believe in the mission here at Warriors Heart and feels privileged to be a part of the team.
