My Why:
As an Army disabled Veteran, I work for Warriors Heart because the Mission “Warriors Healing Warriors” speaks to me both professionally and personally. As a soldier you learn to trust and depend on your “battle buddies” to not only watch your 6 in battle but also at home. The connections / friendships you make are lifelong and meaningful. Although I am no longer Active-duty that sense of comradery is still engrained in me and through my nursing duties here at Warriors Heart I can continue to watch my buddies 6 at an imperative moment in their life.
