My Why: Audri Branham

Audriana or Audri has been a nurse for over 10 years. She has worked in a variety of different fields including cardiac, behavioral health, mother baby, and urgent care. She has been working in the nursing field since she was 17 years old and takes great pride in her skills. Audri was born in Jacksonville, NC and is a Marine Corps brat at heart. After moving around, her family settled down in Spotsylvania, VA. She is the oldest in her family and now she is married to her loyal husband Sean for 10 years. They have 2 daughters (Elvira & Emilia), who share a birthday, 4 years a part. Audri owns a total of 5 dogs (Chloe, Ash, Rue, Darla, and Misty) and she loves them all with her whole heart. She has dreams of fostering more dogs in the future. Audri’s favorite things to do include going on walks, listening to Linkin Park or todays hits, talking on the phone with her sisters, or her absolute favorite, family time around the bonfire.

My Why:

My Why for working at Warriors Heart is because I was raised in a Marine Corps family and I got to see first hand the sacrifices that these servicemen and women make. Both of my parents are veterans and we are a proud retired family! When I became a nurse, I saw it as a way to give back to my community. Working at Warriors Heart, gives me an opportunity to give back to the servicemen and women who gave their all to this country, It makes me proud. I also have a great respect for the recovery community being in recovery myself. I believe I have the resources and the skills to help these warriors get back “home”.
