My Why

My Why: Summer Jordan

Summer Jordan
UR Specialist

Summer was born in San Antonio, her parents were both in the military, so she has been around the military her whole life. Summer loves giving back to those that have given their lives to serving themselves. Being in a dual service family she moved around a lot and by the time she hit high school she had been enrolled in 9 different schools.

My Why:

I feel a sense of pride when helping fight addiction one warrior at a time, so I have decided to take it a step further and am currently enrolled in college in hopes of becoming a park ranger (PPO) where I dream of someday being out in nature while still giving back to my community . I spend my time hiking and traveling the world when I have time. One of my biggest accomplishments was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. My favorite recovery quote is “My recovery must come first in life so that the ones I love don’t come last”
