My Why:

I have seen the destruction of addiction first hand. In myself, in my family, and in some of my closest friends. As a person in recovery myself, I am passionate about dedicating my life to those that “…want what I have and will go to any length to get it” (Alcoholics anonymous p.58)

Addiction almost took away everything I had ever worked for. My family, job, health, reputation, ect.

My life was completely unmanageable. Thanks to others working in recovery I was able to reclaim my life. It truly took a village. My life is now better than it ever was before. The tools I continue to learn in recovery can be applied to so many different areas of my life.

Warriors Heart dedication to helping the people that put their lives on the line for others inspires me. I want to be a part of giving these courageous men and women back their lives. I want to show them that there is life after addiction. Wonderful, goofy, and happy life exists after addiction. I am proof of that.
