Ivory was so excited about her most recent position as one of the clinicians/LCDC at Warriors Heart.  She made the life changing decision to return to school in 2014 and completed her Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Services: Addiction Counseling in 2016.  Considering, she was a late bloomer, had to acquire some very basic computer skills, maintain employment, her sobriety and it continues to be one of the best decisions of her life.

My Why:

As an LCDC, I can encourage, provide guidance, be a listening ear, and help our courageous warriors with substance use disorders better understand and cope with addiction.  The icing on the cake, was applying for a position, with Warriors Heart and they said “YES.”  I ‘m so blessed to have the opportunity to be a team member of this awesome organization.
