Michelle was born and raised in Bristol, Tennessee. After graduating from Bristol Tennessee High School, she enlisted in the Navy as a Yeoman. Her Navy tours included in the Chief of Naval Personnel office at the Navy Annex, and the Navy General Counsel’s office in the Pentagon before getting out in 2002.

Michelle married a Sailor and while growing their Navy family over the next several years, she used her G.I. Bill to finish her Associate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has extensive emergency room nursing experience in Annapolis, Md., Houston and Boerne, Texas. Additionally, Michelle has provided nursing care at Starlight Recovery Center in Center Point, Texas and has taught nursing at Galen College of Nursing in San Antonio. Her passion for helping others is what inspired her to go into the nursing field and serve in her community.

In her free time, Michelle loves investing time with her two teenage children, is an avid crafter and runs a small business in Boerne, Texas.

My Why:

I’m excited to serve at Warriors Heart because as a veteran and military spouse, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges that service members and their families face. Supporting those who have given so much for our freedom is a privilege that anyone should cherish.
