My Why: Tammy Miller

Tammy was born in Lamesa, TX, and raised in Port Lavaca, TX, as the youngest of five children and the only girl. She has lived in Montross, VA, for over 30 years, raising her two children and adopting her two grandchildren, now 18 and 20 years old. Tammy is an animal lover who enjoys living in the country. 

My Why:

I applied for the Director of Nursing position at Warriors Heart because I am deeply passionate about mental health nursing. Supporting our Veterans and First Responders is a vital cause that is too often overlooked, and I am honored to contribute to such an impactful organization.
