A mother at a young age and single mother of 3 awesome young adults aging at 26, 24 and 19. She loves being able to fight the odds and proving she can when she is told she can not. Since entering the medical field her background includes, although not limited to working cardiac units, contact isolation units, ER and minor urgent care. Over 10 yrs of pediatric medicine. Brought on to start the opening of Family Medicine Clinic which did include some minor urgent care as well. She loves learning since the medical fields are in constant change, she loves knowing how the human body works and heals, she loves working to find answers to questions and loves to problem solve.

My Why:

My father served as a Marine in the Corps for nearly 13 if not more years. This was something I was always proud to tell people and make sure it was the first thing they knew. My want was to join just like my dad did but the good Lord had other incredible plans for me. I now have a young adult son enlisting and I feel this is also a part I can do to somehow support him also. Law enforcement and our Military have always fascinated me. It takes so much courage and love and selfless motivation to take this path. I also know the other side of what our men and women are carrying with them even after “coming home”. The idea and opportunity to sit or stand with them and let them know how thankful we are and that we are here for them, they are not alone and that there are people who genuinely want them to succeed and thrive in their lives because after everything that has been asked of them .. this is what they deserve now. Success, love and compassion.
