Kaylie Rickman was born in Harris county, Houston TX in November of 2003.
Kaylie’s family moved away to Bandera TX when she was about two, from there she went to school and lived the Bandera lifestyle. She was always the classroom artist and would spend her time doodling in pages and working on paintings in the classroom.
When there was a group project, she would tend to be the person everyone looked to for a partner.
She spent the majority of her time at the library or drawing, she loved to learn and educate herself on the world around her.
Kaylie is people-pleaser and will tend to do anything she can to help others whether that be someone to talk to and get feedback and solutions from or just to listen.
Kaylie has a wonderful family and boyfriend that supports her, she is currently a Tattoo apprentice and still draws on the daily.
My Why:
I would like to help others, helping others is fulfilling and motivates me to do more.
I understand the struggle of depression and anxiety, panic attacks, I have been in dark spots in my life and had no clue what to do with myself or how to deal with the trauma I had been put through other than wanting to leave this place. I was taken to hospitals for help after failed attempts and the nurses/staff there were very kind and listened to me and opened up to me, it made my fight a little easier days by day.
Having someone there to listen to me and understand my pain, my demons were a little easier to fight.
I want to be that someone to somebody who needs it.
