Paula Ott was born in New Hampton, Iowa. She attended a catholic school from 1st grade until with 8th grade then finished grades 9-12 in a public high school. Paula attended college to get her medical assistant degree then worked with troubled children and young adults for over 20 years. Paula has several people in her family that are military including her father-in-law, 2 uncles and a nephew that have all served. Paula’s husband has been a firefighter for over 30 years and together they have two children. One remains back in Iowa and her daughter has moved with them to Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys spending money and feeding a huge heard of deer. She loves coming home from work and having up to 50 deer waiting in her yard to be fed, they are such beautiful gifts from God. Paula also has a beautiful yellow lab named Brody who she spoils rotten. She has three cats Tillie, Sassy and Stripes that also fill her heart with love. When she arrived in Texas, she did not plan to work but that only lasted for so long and she became bored. Some of her friends told her about Warriors Heart so she decided to give it a try. Paula enjoys waking in the morning and going to work. She decided to take on something a lot less stressful, so she took a job in housekeeping, and it is so rewarding.

My Why:

In housekeeping we get to see and talk to our clients when we are out and about cleaning and each one has such a unique story and I enjoy getting to know about each one of them. I also enjoy making sure that each client has a clean environment to be in. My passion is truly doing things for others, and I definitely fulfill my passion here at Warriors Heart.
