For most of my career, I’ve worked in operations. I’ve built teams, improved systems, solved problems, and learned how to bring order to environments where a lot of moving pieces have to work together.
But at this point in my life, I wanted those skills to mean something more.
I came to Warriors Heart because I wanted to be part of work where the outcome isn’t simply better numbers, greater efficiency, or a stronger bottom line. Here, the work we do behind the scenes helps create an environment where Warriors can focus on rebuilding their lives.
I may not be the person sitting across from a Warrior in a counseling session, but I can make sure the building is cared for, the grounds feel peaceful, the food is prepared with pride, the rooms are clean and welcoming, and the people on my teams understand that what they do matters.
Because environment matters.
Dignity matters.
And sometimes something as ordinary as a clean room, a good meal, a repaired door, or a space that feels safe can quietly tell someone, “You are worth taking care of.”
That is my why.
I wanted to take everything I’ve learned throughout my career and use it somewhere where operational excellence serves a greater purpose – supporting the men and women who have spent so much of their lives serving others.
At Warriors Heart, I get the opportunity to do exactly that.
