Jazmine Soppe was born in Waukegan, Illinois, and raised in San Diego, California. Coming from a proud military family, with both her mother and father having served, she carries values of strength, discipline, and resilience that have shaped who she is today. Jazmine loves going on hikes and spending time with her nephew, which brings her the most joy.

My Why

K9 Valkyrie is a Belgium Malinois, born in 2017 and began her career as an Autism Service Dog. She did not meet the qualifications for that job and was donated to Warriors Heart and is a Permanent Resident. Val has exceeded expectations as a PTSD Dog and is able to interrupt low level anxiety and panic attacks. She is also used as a K9 Training Aid to help new handlers learn the feel of a fully trained dog. Valkyrie especially loves being a lap dog and peanut butter.
