Jazmine Soppe was born in Waukegan, Illinois, and raised in San Diego, California. Coming from a proud military family, with both her mother and father having served, she carries values of strength, discipline, and resilience that have shaped who she is today. Jazmine loves going on hikes and spending time with her nephew, which brings her the most joy.

My Why

Warriors Heart is a mental health training facility for first responders and service members in need. I am a person who has first hand experiences with mental health struggles, and alone it is an uphill battle. This country begs for people to serve and then abandons them as soon as they’re through, sometimes while they’re still serving, and it’s not right. Warrior’s Heart is a facility trying to counter act that pattern. The Serenity prayer says to accept the things you cannot change and to change the things you cannot accept. Working at Warrior’s Heart helps me change the things I cannot accept.
