My Why

I have spent most of my adult life suffering with alcoholism and depression. I’ve spent the last six years of my life dealing with the effects of PTSD from an abusive marriage. I know the feeling of hopelessness. I’ve heard the pleas of my loved ones to stop the self destructive behavior. I know how hard it is to ask for help. I know the feeling of shame and the stigma attached. Through therapy and the 12 steps I was able to turn my life around. I am now the person I never thought I would be able to be. I am grateful to work for a place that is breaking the mold and helping others. I get to see miracles happening in these Warriors life.
