Jazmine Soppe was born in Waukegan, Illinois, and raised in San Diego, California. Coming from a proud military family, with both her mother and father having served, she carries values of strength, discipline, and resilience that have shaped who she is today. Jazmine loves going on hikes and spending time with her nephew, which brings her the most joy.

My Why

I have personal experience with generalized anxiety and PTSD following a traumatic experience as a child and another as a young adult. After years of dealing with not knowing how to deal with the consequences of these experiences, I developed depression and anxiety. In my mid-twenties I found my own set of coping skills to help with my personal issues eventually leading to my seeking mental health services and my PTSD diagnosis. My recovery has been successful even on its most trying days. I live each day with the intent to “find the positives within the negatives” no matter the situation. And I believe it is that positive outlook that makes me beneficial to the Warriors Heart team.
