Misty Anthony

Compliance Director

Born and raised in Bandera, Texas, Misty Anthony has built her career around serving others.

Misty joined Warriors Heart in 2015 and has grown alongside the organization, serving in multiple leadership roles before becoming Compliance Director. In her current position, she oversees regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, quality improvement initiatives, incident management, policy development, and operational processes across the organization. She is passionate about building systems that support excellent care while helping teams navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape.

Throughout her career, Misty has remained committed to servant leadership. Whether working directly with clients or supporting staff behind the scenes, she believes compliance is ultimately about protecting the people Warriors Heart serves and creating an environment where healing can thrive.

Outside of work, Misty enjoys spending time with her husband, Russell, whom she has been with since high school, and have their hands full raising four children together.

My Why

I truly believe Warriors Heart came into my life at exactly the right time. Every day, I have the privilege of supporting the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving others, and that is something I never take for granted.

Addiction and trauma has touched my own family, so I understand that it affects far more than the individual—it impacts spouses, children, parents, and entire families. I’ve seen both the heartbreak it causes and the hope that recovery and healing can bring.

That experience is what drives me. Whether I’m improving processes behind the scenes or helping ensure our organization delivers the highest standard of care, my purpose is the same: to help give our Warriors the opportunity to heal, rebuild their lives, and return home to the people who love them. Knowing that even a small part of my work can help make that possible is why I do what I do.
