Tharesa Burchard was born in 1970, a daughter of an Army Green Bert; her dad fought two tours in Vietnam. Tharesa grew up managing the many difficulties that came from her dad’s war injuries and trauma, like PTSD and drug addiction that her dad suffered from. Tharesa was married at 21years old to her husband Jon and was married for 33 years; Tharesa’s husband served in the Coast Guard, and they raised five children and currently have six grandchildren. Tharesa spent her years working with many organizations from State Children’s Homes to rehabilitation facilities and clinics. Tharesa and her husband took custody of two of their young grandchildren in 2019 and proceeded to raise them. Unfortunately, in 2023, Tharesa lost her husband to a drug overdose, and in 2024 she lost her only brother from a tractor trailer accident. Tharesa has since found a way to continue to be caring and compassionate to support others dedicating herself to help others who have struggled from similar life stories.
