The Right Place

The Right Structure
Sober Living provides a structured, yet independent living environment, where you can come and go out of the home whenever you like as long as it does not interfere with ongoing treatment, or the sober living rules. Residents in sober living homes are expected to maintain their sobriety, participate in group meetings, have a sponsor, and contribute to household responsibilities while meeting all expenses. There are curfews, a zero-tolerance policy toward alcohol and mood-altering substances, among other supportive rules to ensure a positive, encouraging, safe environment.
- Sober Living is located at the Warriors Heart Lodge at 700 State Hwy. 16S in Bandera, TX 78003.
- We have single and double-occupancy rooms, allowing our residents to have a choice related to their financial desires and personal needs.
- Additionally, our Warriors coming directly from successful completion of a residential treatment program have a structured living for a minimum of 60 days when entering our Outpatient Program.
- For additional convenience, we host Warriors Anonymous Meetings every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (Women’s), and Saturday at 1900 CST on site.
Each week, clients can chair, or attend:
- Live Warriors Anonymous meetings (on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturday nights) at 7:00PM for all Warrior class sober clients and alumni, and/or
- Fireside Alumni meeting on Sunday evenings at 7:00PM at the local Warriors Heart Residential Facility.
Clients train to become sober confident Warriors, prior to transitioning back to their families or hometowns. Together, they learn to do things SOBER.
The Right Environment
Sober Living offers a great opportunity for clients to learn to work the Twelve Steps, while sharing in meetings with Warrior-class and other fellowships. It is a great way for them to meet face-to-face with their sponsors at the Lodge or offsite.

The Sober Living clients have access within reasonable walking or driving distance to state parks, the river, horseback riding, and a small town where they can do things together to become sober confident Warriors.

Testimonials
Sober living made the difference. It gave me the opportunity to practice the things I was learning. I could make a mistake, recognize it, talk to other Warriors about and then make a correction.
—Chris D
This was a great opportunity for me to continue to work on my recovery. The program has given me hope for the future along with tools to succeed as long as I apply them in my program. I now have a stronger foundation with my sobriety and am thankful for it.
—Brian S
This program gave me the time to process what my next step in my recovery future looked like. I feel at home here and WH is a safe place to plan and think about what comes next in my journey. I also had the opportunity to participate in operation song which was an amazing and moving experience for me. Thank you to you all!
