Shayla Carpio

Shayla was born and raised in Ohio and relocated to Virginia in 2022 when her husband received active duty orders with the U.S. Air Force. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Germanna Community College in 2024 and brings valuable experience in home health and hospice care. In her free time, Shayla enjoys painting, hiking with her dogs, and reading to her daughter.
My Why:
I’ve always had a deep respect for the military and first responders, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to serving those who serve us. Being part of the mission at Warriors Heart would be an incredible honor. I believe in the healing power of compassion, connection, and purpose—and I am eager to contribute to a team that truly understands the unique challenges faced by our nation’s protectors.
