Jennifer Boarman
Equine Instructor
Coming from a rural background with grandparents and parents that farmed for a living, it only made sense for Jennifer to also have the passion for hard work to get hard rewards. She began working with horses at a young age, growing and learning all different styles of horsemanship over the years. She focuses a lot on groundwork and dressage for a good foundation for any horse and client. In 2014 she became a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship Registered Instructor, which allowed her to bring her love of horses to all people from all backgrounds. Today she owns a 60 acre farm in Essex County VA that teaches people how to ride and carriage drive.
My Why:
For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to help people be successful. Being able to blend the horses into that passion was so rewarding for myself and everyone I have been able to work with. Horses are a mirror, they are incredible animals that have so much compassion. I love sharing that with people! Many people I talk to never have the chance to get close to a horse, therefore being able to share them brings me so much joy. I love being able to know that others get just as much enjoyment being with them as I do. NO matter our background or battles, horses show us that we are all worthy of love. As a child of a Firefighter and a Nurse, I got to see how much my family gave to others. This is my way of continuing that service.
