My Why: McKenna Lavender

I wanted to join the Warriors Heart team because the men and women they serve are a part of a community that is very near and dear to my heart. With two of my siblings serving along with many of my extended family serving in our Nation’s armed forces, my dad being a police officer, my mother working in emergency medicine and the legacy going back generations, I have always been drawn to help those who put their lives on the line for us. I have seen the impact their sacrifices make first hand, and I want to help make a difference in the outcomes.
