My Why: Lizzie Evans-Miller

Growing up around substance abuse, I have seen firsthand what it does to people, and the family and friends around them. Being at Warriors Heart allows me to show compassion towards people who are at their lowest and have found the strength and courage to battle the demons behind their addictions and pain. This opportunity has given me even more respect for the men and women who put their lives on the line every day for us.
