What inspires me to get up in the morning is to serve my brothers and sisters to find their “home”. In my experiences serving in the Marine Corps and as a Firefighter Medic, I was constantly living out of a duffle bag, footlocker, or gear bag. At a moment’s notice or scheduled deployment, I had to leave my children and family. I never knew if I was going to return. It’s been difficult for me to experience a sense of finally feeling that I was at home. From this pain, I believe comes my personal purpose: to help my fellow Warriors come home.
