Sarah Delano is a Client Relations Specialist at Warriors Heart Virginia, bringing over 25 years of nursing experience and a lifelong passion for caring for others. Known for her bubbly personality, compassionate heart, and fun-loving spirit, Sarah finds joy in connecting with people and creating a warm, welcoming space wherever she goes.
A proud wife to a Navy veteran and mother to two amazing boys, Sarah’s life is rooted in faith, family, and service. She loves God, church, and singing, and in her free time, she enjoys beach or mountain adventures with her family and their dog, Loki. A devoted gardener and flower lover, Sarah also finds peace and joy in arranging blooms and making things beautiful.
My Why:
I believe with all my heart that God has called me to help others—first as a nurse and now in a new way through my role at Warriors Heart Virginia. I’ve walked through my own battles with anxiety and depression, and I’ve watched loved ones fight the painful struggles of addiction and PTSD. As the daughter of a Marine and the wife of a Navy veteran, this mission is deeply personal to me.
It is my greatest honor to serve those who have given so much of themselves. I want to be a steady, kind, and compassionate presence—someone others can count on in their time of need. I truly believe healing begins with connection, and I’m grateful every day to walk alongside others on their journey to hope and wholeness.
